Refund Policy

1. Overview

At GiftUp, we strive to ensure a smooth experience for every gift card purchase. This policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued.

2. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable only in the following scenarios:

  • Payment successful, voucher not issued: If your payment is confirmed but the gift card voucher is not delivered within 24 hours, you are eligible for a full refund.
  • Duplicate payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same order due to a technical error.
  • Incorrect voucher delivered: If the delivered voucher does not match your order (wrong brand or denomination).

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Once a gift card voucher has been successfully issued and delivered.
  • If the voucher code has been viewed, copied, or partially redeemed.
  • For buyer's remorse or change of mind after purchase.
  • Issues related to the usage of the gift card on the brand's platform (subject to brand-specific terms).

4. Failed Payments

If your payment fails or is declined, no order will be created and no charge will be applied. In rare cases where the amount is debited but the payment is marked as failed, the refund will be processed automatically by your bank or payment gateway within 5–7 business days.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund is approved by GiftUp, the amount will be credited back to your original payment method. Processing timelines:

  • UPI / Wallets: 1–3 business days
  • Debit / Credit cards: 5–7 business days
  • Net banking: 5–7 business days

Actual timelines may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please:

  1. Email us at contact@giftup.in.
  2. Include your order ID, registered email, and a description of the issue.
  3. Our support team will review your request and respond within 24–48 hours during business hours.
